Artist's Statement

The bar mitzvah is a time of beauty and wonder filled with

tradition and peace, which unfolds throughout that special day. The

service, family and the celebration calls us to respond with admiration.

Photography captures and expresses what we see and experience.

Many contemporary photos miss the wonder of the bar mitzvah,

producing only snapshots. The purpose of my photography is to

provide a clear and brilliant window into the experience of the

bar mitzvah, one that will be treasured for years and years.
